VoiceMail
The VoiceMail service enables callers to leave messages on your phone whilst your phone is Off, Out of Coverage Area, etc. You could then retrieve these messages when your phone is switched back on. This service is available on both the Prepaid and Postpaid bouquets.

Activating your VoiceMail
There are two 2 ways of activating VoiceMail on your MTN:
1. Dial 555 and follow the voice prompt to enter your personal password
2. Visit any MTN Customer Service point to activate your VoiceMail

Your password by default will be 9999 until you personalize it.

Enabling your handset to receive voice messages.
1. Select Divert Call Divert from your phone "Menu"
2. Select one of the following options:
1. Out of reach
2. Busy
3. Not Answered, etc
3. Enter +233 24 4300556 VoiceMail Divert Number for Postpaid or Enter 4300556 VoiceMail Divert Number for Prepaid

How to retrieve your VoiceMail
1. You will receive a TXT notification to call 555 to retrieve your voice messages.
2. Call 555 and follow the voice prompt.

By default your password is 9999.

Please note that messages that have been saved for more than one 1 week will no more be available.

SmartClip
This service is available to Postpaid sbscribers. The SmartClip application is a service from MTN that enables you to track all the numbers that tried to contact you whilst your phone was Off, Out of Coverage, Busy, etc. Once your phone is turned back ON, a TXT message would be sent directly to your phone with the data on all the numbers that tried to reach you. The TXT would contain the originating number, date and time of call.

How it works
1. Select Divert Call Divert from your phone "Menu"
2. Select one of the following options
1. Out of reach
2. Busy
3. Not answered, etc.
3. Enter +233 24 4300557 SmartClip Divert Number for Postpaid or Enter 4300557  SmartClip Divert Number for Prepaid

You can become a SmartClip customer by filling and signing form available at any of customer service points. The customer care personnel will contact you for confirmation before the service is activated on your phone.


Please note that you can divert to SmartClip and Voice mail at the same time by choosing different options.
Example:
Select "Out of Reach" for SmartClip024 4300557and "Busy for VoiceMail024 4300556
