MTN GoLive uses GPRS General Packet Radio Service technology and provides you with a data connection on your mobile phone. Send and receive e-mail when you are out and about, keep up to date with the latest news and information, or surf the web. You can even surf from your laptop or PC by linking your mobile phone to your laptop.

GoLive and Wireless Office keep you permanently connected to the Internet but only charge you when your phone is sending or receiving data, which means that thinking and reading time is free. Uplinks and connections are fast and you can download at speeds similar to a dial-up modem on your home PC.

Services you'll have access to

• Access web mail: if you have an Internet-based email account like Hotmail, Yahoo etc. simply enter their URL on your Mobile Web screen then log on as usual.  You can then send, receive or forward emails and open attachments as usual.
• Browse Internet: allows you to access the web sites you visit on your PC or in the Internet cafe.
• MMS Multimedia Messaging Service:  Allows you to take a photo or video and send it to any mobile phone or email address
• Use other Internet Applications: Ability to chat MSN, AOL, Yahoo Messenger, etc voice over IP or FTP
• Text and browse from your laptop: With a GPRS Modem MTN Wireless Office connected to your laptop/PC, you will be able to browse the internet as well as send and receive messages SMS/MMS from your laptop/PC.
