Job Summary

• Minimise and mitigate legal Risk,
• Advise, negotiate and manage commercial legal transactions within Scancom and outside Scancom
• Ensure corporate governance, compliance,
• Provide guidance and advice to operations in commercial legal activities/transactions requiring Scancom input - drafting, , structuring,
• Review practices, procedures, policies and business to ensure that these in accordance with the laws of Ghana.
• Manage legal/commercial risk in transactions
• Assist in the Management of Departmental Budget

Job Role

• Negotiate, draft and implement legal agreements
• Provide legal support to company projects
• Incorporation of related company policies into contracts
• Monitor, manage and input in to litigation strategy and approach of external solicitors on all ongoing litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Manage disputes that arise and have the ability to judge on need to escalate disputes
• Monitor legal and regulatory landscape and report on laws, regulations, guidelines that can affect the business of the company - provide guidance in legislative aspects
• Manage legal risks in accordance with Company Policy
• Provide legal opinions on various legal issues and legal advice on transactions
• Researching applicable laws and providing recommendations on the legal consequences of business initiatives, decisions and highlighting attendant risks.
• Provide legal support to company projects
• Support Corporate Governance  internally and externally (Supports board meetings, supports conflict of interest initiatives)
• Support  implementation of internal company policies
• Support efforts towards influencing Governmental & Regulatory Policies affecting the Company’s business.
• Facilitate timely responses to stakeholders

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Law with qualifying certificate in law
• Post-Graduate Qualification in Commercial Law , Communications Law or International Commercial Law is an advantage

Experience

• 8 years post qualification Commercial/Corporate Law experience in a large local law firm. 
• Negotiations and drafting of reasonably complex commercial transactions
• Telco/Finance/ Litigation Experience an advantage

Job Summary:
To effectively manage the respective teams that operate and maintain PS, CS & Access network elements that includes but not limited to MSS, MGW, BSC, RNC, HLR, CCN, CBC, SGSN, GGSN, SASN, SAPC, GPRS,NTS, MCF thereby delivering on the core network operations requirement.

Job Role

• Introduction of new nodes, services and technologies.
• Develop new and optimize existing PPP to enhance efficiency
• Implement and manage escalation procedures and work flow.
• Ensure core nodes are updated with the latest SW release
• Responsible for Financial budget planning and expenditure control
• Audit and optimise configurations and parameters and ensure total configuration changes, ATPs and planned work without impacting negatively on traffic

Education & Experience

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering
• At least 8 years’ experience on the job of which 5 years has been managing an operations and maintenance function in the telecommunications industry

• Excellent knowledge in telecommunication fundamentals
• Excellent knowledge in Network System technologies like GSM, WCDMA, and Transmission & IP networks, etc
• Advanced knowledge in GSM & WCDMA networks' architecture, topology, protocols and Interfaces like CCITT 7, BSSAP, MAP, ISUP, GCP, SIP, BICC, IPBCP, QAAL2 etc
• Good knowledge in Management systems associated to different architectures, Manager of Managers such as OSS, M2000 etc

Job Role

• Responsible for the following Convergent Systems:
  • SDP, Minsat, VS, AIR, ECE, DTE, Virtual Number, Billing System, IVRand VMS.
• Manages Convergent System Expansion and upgrades
• Responsible for the change management configuration of the unit
• Assists and leads projects related to the Convergent Systems, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within the budget allocated.
• Ensures Information and access security on the convergent systems according to the internal IT policies.
• Motivates, coaches and leads teams to ensure that individuals possess the skills and capability required to deliver team objectives
• Ensures proper monitoring of Convergent Services and highlight potential fraud issues.

Job Summary:
To set the overall direction on power/energy system planning, operation and optimization for the organization and to develop and nurture a Power Planning unit that will support the business objectives. Job Role

Job Summary:
To execute tasks related to Business Intelligence and Enterprise data warehouse system. The role holder is responsible for the BI Reporting Portal and Dashboards, handling the design, development and deployment of reports on the BI portal. The responsibility also includes training and supporting business on the use of the Reporting Portal as well as the maintenance of the reporting interfaces/dashboards:

• Ensuring reports and dashboards are operational
• Creating ad hoc reports as per user requests
• Liaising with DBA and Data Architect to optimize reporting performance
• Planning and Coordinating end user training
• Managing user access and security at the frontend/ OBIEE Portal
• Liaising with business users on building their capacity on the self-service tools on the OBIEE
• Coordinating with Vendors on the deployment of new reports on the dashboard
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues at the reporting level

Education & Experience

• Possess at least a degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science

Additional Skills

• Possessing ITIL, Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and/or OBIEE Certification is recommended.
