Accra, 12th December, 2011- MTN Ghana, the number one telecommunications service provider in Ghana has today commissioned a new branch office at Teshie Nungua, a suburb of Accra. This brings the number of MTN branches and Connect Stores across the country to a total of sixty six (66).

With this new office, MTN is bringing its services closer to people living in and around the Teshie Nungua community.  

At a brief ceremony held at the forecourt of the new office building, the Regional Branch Network Services Manager for MTN Ghana, Miss Ruxanne Dadzie, said “this centre is being opened at such a significant time when we are celebrating our 10 millionth subscriber milestone. We are indeed very pleased to be able to expand our services to this part of the city”.

The branch is located at Teshie Nungua first junction, close to the Internal Revenue Service and
will serve as a sales point for MTN products and services. Other functions include sale of Mobile Money services, products and services education and demonstration and payment points for monthly bills.  The centre is open from Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Saturday services will commence in 2012.

Corporate Services Executive, Cynthia Lumor, commenting on the branch opening said, “our goal is to provide our customers with the best possible personal customer experience.  We are very eager to extend our footprint to many locations in Ghana and our customers are assured of the best of services at the Teshie Nungua branch as well as all the other service centres”.
The opening of the new customer service center complements MTN Ghana’s already existing 20 customer service centers in the Greater Accra region. New centers opened this year include the Kwame Nkrumah circle branch near Busy Internet, Accra Central (Kantamanto) branch, Spintex Road, Tesano and Takoradi Market Square branches.
