Accra, 15th November, 2011- MTN Ghana, the number one telecommunications service provider in the country has announced that its subscriber base has hit the 10 millionth mark.
By this achievement, the telecoms giant currently enjoys more than half of the mobile phone subscriber base in the country.
To celebrate this achievement, MTN has unveiled a comprehensive package for its subscribers across the country. For the next four weeks therefore, MTN will be giving out exciting loyalty prizes as a sign of appreciation to millions of its loyal subscribers across the country. Among the fantastic offers for the various categories of customers are the following:
- Bonus on Recharge
All prepaid customers will enjoy between 10% to 100% bonus on every recharge made. Recharge bonus is limited to On-net, valid for 3 days. Recharge is Physical, ME 2U and Unit transfer
- PAYG Offer(Prepaid) for New Customers
During the promotional period MTN will pick one winner from each of the regional capitals (10 winners in all). Each winner will enjoy 10 SMS every day, 10 hours free talk time on net, 100MB of data and one Huawei IDEOS handseta 3G Android Smartphone.
- Special Offer
10 active customers who have been with the Network for at least 10 years will be selected to be awarded one free iPad plus 1GB of data for 10 months and 10 hours of free talk time each (one off) .Bonus will be used for on-net only and valid for 30 days.
- Pay Monthly Offer (Post Paid)
Customers get 10% off their On-net calls for the promotional month from today 15th November to 15th December 2011.
- Retail Sector
Any EVD (unit transfer) retail customer who buys recharge value more than GHc 300 will automatically receive GHc 10 additional airtime.
Other packages include the giveaway of airtime on selected radio stations across the country. In this offer, the recharge numbers will be mentioned and the fastest finger to load them gets the airtime for free.
